Col Crawford stated that, “he was honored to recognize the squadron for its’ outstanding performance from 15 Nov 2014 to 15 Nov 2015.” He noted that the Unit Citation Award is awarded for exceptionally meritorious service or exceptionally outstanding achievement which sets the unit above and apart from similar units.

During the Award presentation, Col Crawford recognized the cadets and Senior Members who had participated in recruiting, cadet activities, O-flights, AEX events, Color Guard, CyberPatriot, Emergency Services, CAP trips, and PAO activities during the Award period.

Col Crawford also recognized C/SSgt Caleb Mize for winning the MER recruiting contest (cadet division.) Cadet Mize recruited more new CAP members than any other cadet in the Region.
