Iredell and Waxhall Comp. Sqdns Place Wreaths at National Cemetery in Salisbury

12/17/2013–– The Iredell Composite Squadron and the Waxhaw Composite Squadron participated in the Wreaths Across America Ceremony today at the Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery.

The NC-162 Honor Guard presented the colors and cadets from both squadrons held flags from every branch of the military, as well as a POW/MIA flag. The Patriot Guard Riders and Blue Star Mothers were also present to lay wreaths in memory of our fallen soldiers.

Taps was played by a live bugler and a gun salute was given. After the ceremony, both squadrons assisted with placing wreaths on graves.
